Call For Papers .

GMJ-ME published two times a year, June and December. For June issue, papers should be submitted by March; for December issue, papers should be submitted by September. Please feel free to contact the editor for guidance on the submission process.

Article for GMJ-ME may be either full research papers (maximum 5000 words), or as articles in brief (maximum 2000 words), or review papers (maximum 4000 words). After submissions are accepted, papers will follow blind peer-review process by selected members of editorial board and reviewers from an international pool for quality, consistency and research contribution.

Articles submitted to this journal must contain original results and must not be submitted elsewhere while being evaluated for the Global Media Journal – ME.

 

Format ?


    Articles should be double-spaced 12 point type (Arial or Times New Roman fonts preferred). The first page should only contain the running title of the article. The second page should include the full title of the article and the names and contact information of all authors It should clearly state the corresponding author. The names of the authors must be abbreviated following the international naming convention. e.g. Abdullah, Z., Tan, L.C., or Salleh, M.H. The third page should repeat the full title of the article and contain the abstract and keywords but no author information. Page four onwards should contain the introduction and the rest of the article.

All scholarly articles should adhere to the following guidelines:


1.

Articles and essays must be written according to the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, latest edition.

2.

Articles should include: (a) article title, (b) author name/s, (c) current position/affiliation, (d) brief biography, (e) email and mail addresses, (f) a brief abstract (maximum 250 words) with five keywords reflecting the contents of paper.

3.

Article for GMJ-ME may be either full research papers (maximum 5000 words), or as articles in brief (maximum 2000 words), or review papers (maximum 4000 words).

4.

Authors are expected to carefully proofread their work before submission.

5.

Articles that do not conform to the stated submission guideline will be returned to author/s for revisions.

6.

Authors are responsible for obtaining any necessary permission from copyright holders for reproducing previously published material, including charts, graphs, photos, tables, etc.

7.

Authors should consider including links to any references, web pages, or sites related to their work (this is a strong advantage of electronic publications).

8.

Scholarly articles will go through a blind peer review process while other submissions (book review) will be reviewed by the GMJ guest editor.
